Birnam Highland Games
The Birnam Highland Games are traditional Scottish Highland Games which have been held annually amidst stunning Perthshire scenery since 1864.
Events for 2011 include performances by The Blairgowire and Rattray Pipe Band, heavy events including tossing the caber, highland dancing, field and track events and a fun fair.
For the more adventurous Birnam hosts a number of unique events including The Mad Kiltie Dash, the Scottish 800m footrace championship and the World Haggis Eating Championship!
